Udawalawe National Park

While famous for the large herds of wild elephants and deer found here one can also see crocodiles, wild buffalo, peacocks and a large variety of bird life as well. The Udawalawe National Park was designated and established as the fifth national park of Sri Lanka on the 30th of June, 1972.
